Camp Bauercrest

Our Program

Camp Bauercrest offers a wide variety of programs where the boys participate in camp-wide activities as well as electives, where they can focus on their favorites, striking the appropriate balance across instruction, competition, and recreation so all participants can improve and have fun.  Our 20-acre property is packed with all of the courts, fields, and facilities to host any sport or event we can think of, rain or shine, day or night.  Click here to learn more about what our facility has to offer!

Athletics, both on land and water, are the foundation of our program and we use the medium of these activities to teach values and lessons, giving us a constant framework to develop and teach our boys success on and off the field.  However, our program is not limited just to athletics and we enjoy other classic camp activities like arts and crafts, video and photo production, drama, and other creative activities generated by our staff each summer.

Daily Schedule

Each regular program day schedule contains five periods that kids participate in.  These include:

  • Athletic Instruction – Instructional lessons for skill development in a specific athletic discipline
  • Swim Instruction – Each camper takes swim lessons to improve their ability in the water, conducted in the Segall Aquatic Center
  • League – A Bauercrest favorite!  Our intra-camp competition organized by age and skill level that rotates by sport each day with a League Champion declared at each session’s end.
  • Electives (2) – Each camper selects from the list of offered activities according to their preferences.  Electives are selected every week for variety.

 And There’s More!

On top of our regular program, Bauercrest has even more to offer our campers, including:

  • Field Trips – Each week the camp travels on a field trip to various locations, including amusement parks, water parks, sporting events, 1975_ColorWarbeach trips, and more!
  • Color War – The pinnacle event at Bauercrest where Blue and White face off in a camp-wide, week-long, over-the-top competition that Karl Ravech, ESPN Anchor and Bauercrest Alum, described as “more intense than the Super Bowl”.  Certainly an event to experience for yourself!
  • Creative Evening Activities – Each night, the bunk, group, or entire camp enjoy a creative program put together by our staff to cap off each day.
  • Intercamp Competition – Campers are able to join our travel teams to compete against other camps in friendly games or multi-camp tournaments throughout the summer.
  • Academic and Bar-Mitzvah Tutoring – Make sure your child stays up to speed with their studies and sign up for tutoring throughout the summer and receive updates of their continued progress.
