Falkoff Ninja Warrior Course

Falkoff Ninja Warrior Course

Camp Bauercrest is off the wall to announce that the FALKOFF NINJA WARRIOR COURSE will be up and running on the Hillside for Summer 2017.  Based on NBC’s hit TV show “American Ninja Warrior,” the course will teach kids of all ages to use their strength, agility, and coordination, while building confidence and self-esteem as they meet their goals.  It will also serve as a constant reminder that with hard work, practice, and determination, they can do anything they set their minds to.

The course will be a memorial to Jeffrey Falkoff (W ’93), who passed away suddenly this past fall.  Jeff, or “Falks,” was 8 years old when he arrived on the Hillside as a new camper; since then, few have been more universally known or loved.  When it came to Bauercrest, Falks accomplished everything from Bunk Captain to Group Leader, from Camp Rabbi to Color War Captain.  He also won nearly every award including Camp Cup for All-Around Camper.  From the smallest Sophomore B to the oldest counselor, everyone gravitated to Falks; and that extended far beyond camp.

Jeff never missed an episode of “American Ninja Warrior” and we know he would have loved seeing this course take shape at camp.  We feel this is the perfect way to honor his memory on the Hillside for years to come.

Please watch the short video above to learn more about Jeffrey Falkoff and Bauercrest’s new Ninja Course.

My son has had a wonderful experience as a camper. Staying at home for the summer was boring for him and frustrating for me. Attending camp has allowed him to be active, have fun and feel included in a small community.
