I hope you are all healthy and safe. I also hope you’re a little bit bored, because that probably means you’re doing what we’ve all been asked to do. Social distancing is a new concept for most of us. Those of us who work in camping thrive on being together and creating endless opportunities for kids to be together, so this goes against our very nature. But there is no doubt that it’s absolutely necessary right now in order for us to get back to “normal”.
This has been a challenging few weeks. The unknown is difficult. I think we can all agree that it doesn’t feel good to be told things that aren’t true just to make us feel better. We won’t do that. We don’t know how long this will last. What we do know is that we are preparing for the summer just like we do every year. We know that you all want camp to happen this summer as badly as we do. So let’s stay positive and keep our distance. As always, Stacy and I are here if you need to talk, if you want us to talk to your sons, or if you just want to say hello.
We miss all of you and look forward to getting the band back together.
Love you all,
Ken & Stacy
