Leaving camp never gets easy, no matter how old you are! It can be hard to step away from the camp office even in the wintertime when not a single camper is in sight. Somehow we managed to take a little trip to the ACA New England conference in Manchester, NH last week and are happy to report we had a great time attending! Getting to spend time with other camp professionals is a privilege we are lucky to have! Eric and Joanna attended many sessions where they gained new and exciting ideas for 2016 and beyond. When you are surrounded by camp professionals you can’t help but have a little fun!
One of the sessions Joanna attended was all about blogs! The group sat together and wrote an awesome post. The team at ACA loved it so much they posted it to their very own blog. We decided to share it with all of you!
“We know it takes a village to raise a child, and each year we come together as a village of camp professionals to prepare for the summer ahead. Much like our children come to camp from all over the region to learn, grow and make new friends, we do the same here at the ACA New England Annual Conference. Furthering our education around camping is our way of investing in the future of our programs, as families are investing in the futures of their children by giving them the gift of camp.” – See more at: http://www.acanewengland.org/families-public/smore-about-camp-a-blog-for-camp-families/top-5-reasons-we-love-the-aca-new-england-conference#sthash.0N9MBkDT.dpuf
