When summer is over and we back at home we miss camp. It happens to everyone at some point, no matter how old! Don’t panic! Teach someone whist!

Our Favorite summer pass time has got to be playing a hand of whist! There is nothing better than playing this awesome game with your camp friends! When you miss camp on a cold January day pull out a deck of Bauercrest playing cards and teach someone how to play! You only need four people to play! Make some hot chocolate and gather round while you show off your skills and teach your friends and family from home how whist is played! They will certainly be impressed and excited to learn the rules of a great camp game! Bring a little Bauercrest with you wherever you go!

Send a Letter to a Camp Friend

One of the best parts of summer camp is mail! Campers and parents love to send each other letters filled with news they want to share! Well letters don’t have to only exisit in the summer! When you miss your camp friends sure you can send them an email or call them on the phone, but think about how fun receiving a letter would be! True camp style! Send your friends a letter about how things are going in your hometown. Share with them the latest news going on at your school or with your family. Writing letters are a great way to keep in touch and totally give off the camp spirit! Just imagine running to the mailbox outside your house and getting a letter

Have a Barbecue

What is better than a Saturday night BBQ? Nothing! So we suggest when you miss camp ask you parents if you can BBQ for dinner. Play some music and get grilling! Enjoy the classic hot dog and burger while thinking about BBQs at camp. Just imagine you are hanging on the hillside with your friends sitting near the main road getting ready for an awesome evening activity. What could be better?

Cheer About Something

We all know how much Bauercrest boys love to cheer! It doesn’t matter what is going on, they will always cheer! When you miss camp just wait a second and get ready to cheer! Maybe the phone rings, maybe you finish your homework, maybe you find out you get cookies for dessert! Whatever it is start a cheer. We bet your family and friends will join in the fun!
