The 1931 Fund
Donations to the 1931 Fund support Camp Bauercrest throughout the year and provide resources where they are needed most. The 1931 Fund makes it possible for Camp Bauercrest to continue to deliver excellent programming, retain the best staff each summer, and make physical improvements to the campus year round. Donations to the 1931 Fund are always allocated to the areas of greatest need. By supporting Camp Bauercrest, you are sustaining the breadth of creative opportunities for campers to explore new passions and discover new talents on top of our exceptional daily programming.
The Scholarship Fund
Donations to the Scholarship Fund provide direct scholarships to campers and families so they can enjoy a summer on the hillside. For many campers, your gift to the Scholarship Fund can be the bridge between the dream of a summer on the Hillside and the reality of a summer on the Hillside. Nearly a quarter of Camp Bauercrest campers receive financial aid. Through your support of the Scholarship Fund, you are ensuring that the next generation of crestmen are able to make memories on the Hillside today.
The Camp Bauercrest Foundation
The mission of the Camp Bauercrest Foundation is to ensure the financial health and longevity of Camp Bauercrest. This is done through three areas of support.
- Grants to Camp Bauercrest. To accomplish its mission, CBF will provide direct financial support in the form of grants to Camp Bauercrest for scholarships to needy camper families or those affected by tragedies or natural disasters, capital improvement projects, educational programs and other specifically identified projects. CBF anticipates that these programs listed will account for approximately 75% of its charitable activities.
- Direct Charitable Activities. CBF may undertake direct charitable activities to improve Camp Bauercrest and to maintain the facilities, ensure safe and healthy conditions for Camp Bauercrest campers, or to build new or improve existing buildings or facilities owned or used by Camp Bauercrest in the camp programs. CBF anticipates that this program will account for approximately 20% of its charitable activities.
- Other Charitable Activities. These will include making direct payments on Camp Bauercrest’s behalf to cover costs or to support the interests of Camp Bauercrest. CBF anticipates that this program will account for approximately 5% of its charitable activities
