Position Summary:

As Camp Nurse, you’ll provide expert medical care in a dynamic, outdoor setting—assessing, treating, and supporting kids and staff through everything from routine check-ups to urgent health needs. Beyond clinical care, you’ll become a trusted presence in our camp community, building relationships, partnering with families, and helping every camper feel safe, healthy, and ready for adventure.

- Deliver Top-Notch Medical Care: Provide quality care for the health and wellbeing of our campers and staff, responding to everything from minor injuries to urgent medical needs with professionalism and empathy.
- Champion Wellness: Administer daily medications, monitor chronic conditions, and respond to health emergencies with calm expertise.
- Maintain Medical Records: Keep accurate, up-to-date health documentation in compliance with American Camp Association (ACA) standards.
- Ensure Health Center Coverage: Work with fellow nurses to provide 24/7 Health Center coverage on a rotating basis, so campers and staff always have support.
- Open and Close the Health Center: Establish and maintain inventory, organize supplies, and ensure everything is ready for the start and end of camp.
- Lead Health Education: Educate campers and staff on hygiene, safety, and wellness—empowering our community to make healthy choices every day.
- Partner with Parents: Communicate proactively with families about camper health, medication needs, and any medical concerns, ensuring a true partnership in care.
- Follow Protocols: Respond to health calls and emergencies with confidence, following established camp protocols.
- Support Camp Operations: Make appointments with local providers, manage first aid kits, and bridge the gap between basic care and emergency response.

- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Sports coach/instructor:
Camp Bauercrest takes improving our campers’ athletic ability as well as their knowledge of the games we play very seriously. To that end, we are hiring instructors with experience in both playing and coaching specific sports, including basketball, lacrosse, hockey, and golf, in an effort to provide this extra training for the campers.
Qualifications:
- Must have played the sport in College
- Coached at least 2 years in youth/high school
- Available for at least 1 week during the summer
- Experience with children off the field/court
- 3 References
Waterfront Director:
The most popular elective at camp every year. The Waterfront Director must be at least 21 years old and an experienced boating person with an active lifeguard certification. Canoeing, sailing, and fishing experience is preferred but not required. 3 references are required and salary ranges from 6-8K for the full 7-week summer.
Program Specialist:
The Program Specialist is a person with vast knowledge of how to coach, referee (if applicable) and teach the specific program. Woodworking, ceramics, arts and crafts, music/drama, and sports broadcasting are some examples. This position can be a veteran counselor or someone from the outside who provides the campers with great instruction and a love for the program.
Position Summary
Camp Bauercrest is looking for a Video Content Creator to capture and edit high-quality video content that tells the story of our camp in a compelling and dynamic way. This is a hands-on, immersive role where you will shoot and edit video content every day, creating an extensive portfolio that can serve as a launchpad for a full-time career in content creation.
As a Video Content Creator, you’ll be on the ground filming sports, leadership activities, and the powerful moments that define the Bauercrest experience. From fast-paced highlight reels to emotional storytelling pieces, you will have the creative freedom to experiment with styles, refine your skills, and produce professional-grade content for social media and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Film daily camp activities, including sports, competitions, leadership moments, and camper interactions.
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Develop and execute a fast-paced, high-volume content strategy that ensures a steady stream of engaging videos.
- Work with existing footage while capturing fresh, dynamic material every day.
- Collaborate with camp leadership to identify key stories that showcase our mission and culture.
- Experiment with editing styles, transitions, and storytelling techniques to create diverse portfolio pieces.
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust content strategies for maximum impact.
- Engage with our online audience by sharing behind-the-scenes content, teasers, and live footage.

Position Summary:
Camp Bauercrest is looking for college and high school aged seasonal staff to join our summer facilities team. Gain valuable work experience while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. This role involves performing skilled and semi-skilled labor tasks to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for campers and staff. Duties include assisting with carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the camp property all under the supervision and with the support of our Facilities Director.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Head of Maintenance in daily maintenance tasks and projects across camp facilities.
- Support the coordination and execution of repairs and preventative maintenance under the guidance of the Head of Maintenance.
- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks such as carpentry, mechanical repairs, and basic non-licensed electrical and plumbing work.
- Maintain camp grounds, including watering, mowing, weeding, trimming trees and shrubs, and cleaning up debris.
- Clean and maintain camp buildings, including restrooms and common areas; ensure waste disposal and recycling protocols are followed.
- Operate and maintain camp equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any issues to the Head of Maintenance.
- Complete daily work logs and report incidents or necessary repairs to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a safe camp environment by following safety regulations and inspecting grounds for hazards.
