Training Camp to Major Leagues
The Camp Bauercrest experience builds character and instills values that last a lifetime.
Because we offer programs for boys from 1st grade all the way to 11th grade, our campers grow up here summer after summer, graduating from their first experience as young prospects at Training Camp to modeling the virtues of leadership and service in the major leagues as Waiters and, finally, Counselor Interns.
(1st- 5th grades)
Prospective campers experience a day in the life at Bauercrest, while their parents tour the camp, get their questions answered, and enjoy a sneak peek of what it's like to be free to do whatever they want while their boys have their first Bauercrest overnight!
(10th grade)
This experience prepares campers for future leadership roles and responsibilities. During the summer, Waiters set up the Dining Hall before each meal and clean up in teams after one meal each day. Waiters are extended privileges beyond those given to the other campers, such as special Waiter-only trips, later curfews, and latitude in elective selection.
CI program (11th grade)
The CI Program marks the final camper year at Bauercrest. The CI summer kicks off with a transformative two-week trip to Israel. Upon their return to camp, these young men begin preparing for the fundamental shift from camper to counselor. Bauercrest makes a considerable investment in building the leadership and service-oriented potential in these young men, both for the current summer and for seasons to come.
